Getting Busy

So we have been quite busy with school starting and such. We've been doing a lot of stuff, and we even celebrated Justin's 27th birthday. I will do my usual pictures with captions, but here are tidbits for you.
I was just called to serve on the Activities Commitee for my ward, and I am way excited to do so! I have never been on the Activities Commitee before but have always wanted to be. I know the Commitee Chairperson, we are old friends, so I am even more excited to be working with her.
Justin has started school again and is an official OSU student. He has threatened to wear is Oregon (rival school) shirts to class, but me and everyone else said he'd be crazy to do so. Some people wouldn't take kindly to that sort of thing. He is quite busy with the school work, and he bikes to and from class, which takes up more of his time. When he bikes to and from school and then to and from work he bikes about 18-19 miles that day. So he is getting quite the work out. It is 4 miles roundtrip from school, and a little over 14 miles roundtrip from work.
Levi is loving our new place and neighborhood. He is outside almost everyday and he will look out our back window to see when someone is playing outside, at which point he insists he has to go play with them. He has made some friends here, which I am thrilled about. These are his first friends (besides the friendships with his cousins). They come over a lot and he asks to go to their houses a lot too. There are three boys, and they are all 4-year-olds. Some are almost a full year older than him, and one I think is only six months or so older. But he is as tall as all of them and can certainly keep up mentally.

Hazel has passed one teething phase, although I fear she is entering another one. She has had a perpetual cold the last week, which Levi did for almost ten months straight when he was her age. It seems like she is constantly on medicine, but I am trying hard to keep that to a minimum. She loves to pull herself up on anything and will walk along edges, but no signs of walking solo yet. She refuses to put her feet down when you are trying to guide her. I'm in no rush, she'll get there when she's ready. However, she has learned the signal for touchdown (something every baby should know, right?). Levi learned it at this age too. So she claps, waves a little, dances, and does the sign for touchdown (almost all of these she does when prompted).

Anyway, here are more pictures, enjoy!

We have a little lip (about 8" high) of patio off the back of our house, Hazel was looking over the edge and fell off. I was right there, but instead of crying she just sat up and gave me this look like 'What the heck was that?'

Justin's birthday cake. Many of you know this pains me to do, but hey it was on an orange cake plate and I did a black border... that counts, right?

For Justin's birthday I took him fishing. No luck though. We need to find better spots!
Hazel enjoying her fishing experience.

Just hanging around.
Outside a grocery store.

At Target... goofing off.

My little witch!

Just chillin on a Beaver Game day!
That's all folks!
